How to Start Your Own SMM Panel: A Launch Guide

Starting your own SMM panel means more than putting a catalog on a website. You need a clear offer, working provider connections, a way to collect payments and a process for resolving customer issues. This guide separates those decisions so you can launch deliberately rather than discover missing steps after taking orders.

Define the business before the catalog

Decide who you want to serve and which services you understand well enough to support. A focused catalog can be easier to explain and maintain than hundreds of unfamiliar options. Write down the customer questions you expect: the link format, minimum quantity, likely processing stages and the conditions for cancellation or refill.

Do not promise guaranteed sales, permanent engagement or an exact delivery time without a basis in the specific service. Renting panel software provides a way to run the business; it does not guarantee the performance of the services you choose to sell.

Choose hosted rental or a self-hosted script

A hosted rental gives you access to a running platform for a recurring fee. A self-hosted script involves separate responsibility for the server, database, updates and security. Compare the ongoing work and total costs, not only the initial price.

Delix Panels provides a branded client website and owner admin through a monthly rental. Standard own-provider rent is KES 2,000 per month. A verified Delix Gains provider connection qualifies for KES 1,000 per month. Provider service purchases and optional add-ons remain separate.

Create the panel and check the address

Enter your business details, select your country and choose an included subdomain or a custom domain you own. Review checkout and submit your rental payment once. Verified payment activates the rental; custom-domain DNS and HTTPS may still need to finish before the chosen address is ready.

Check the client website from an ordinary customer browser. A successful admin sign-in is not enough: customers need to open the storefront, navigate the catalog and reach their account pages too.

Verify providers before publishing services

Connect the actual provider account and confirm that the service catalog loads. Import a manageable selection, then review the names, categories, prices and quantity limits. Keep refill and cancellation information visible. Test with accounts or assets you are authorized to use and do not assume every imported service is suitable for your audience.

Set prices and configure customer payments

Include provider cost, payment fees, currency conversion, support effort and recurring software expenses in your planning. Distinguish markup from profit margin and leave room for exceptions. A displayed wallet balance is not a complete profit calculation.

Configure the payment gateways offered to your clients separately from the rental checkout. Verify the merchant credentials, supported currencies and the route a customer takes back to your website after payment. Never treat a browser redirect alone as proof that money was received.

Run a controlled launch test

Use a small test journey: registration, sign-in, payment, order creation, provider processing and support. Check the balance and order history after each step. Make sure a repeated refresh does not create a second payment or order, and confirm how your team handles a delayed transaction.

Launch when the essential journey works, not when the homepage merely looks finished. Keep a record of the tests, monitor early customer issues and improve the catalog based on what you can reliably support.
